Taking A Giant Leap Of Faith

The Bible contains the lives of people who by Faith in God took giant steps, either forsaking everything or forsaking anythings in life.

When God called Abraham, he has to leave everything behind and follow God's instructions.

Genesis 12

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Abram Journeys to Egypt

12 Now the Lord said to Abram,
[a]Go forth from your country,
And from your relatives
And from your father’s house,
To the land which I will show you;
And I will make you a great nation,
And I will bless you,
And make your name great;
And so [b]you shall be a blessing;
And I will bless those who bless you,
And the one who [c]curses you I will [d]curse.
And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

When Moses was called, He has to leave his luxury life.

The Choice of Moses
By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to be evil entreated with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked unto the recompense of reward.—Hebrews 11:24-26.

By Faith many have come to the understanding that God works everything for our good.
