Definitely not, some others do question and think that the God's of both this books are the same. But it is not so.
1. Bible is very different from any other books of this world. It was written over 1,000 to 1,500 years by 40 different authors and it consists of 66 books. It was written at different centuries and by different people at different situations and circumstances of life(at war, at peace, at prison, when they were shepherding the sheep...etc) but yet they all point out to one person - Jesus Christ. No one had any idea that they were writing "The Bible", but yet it was inspired by God and they were made to write in such a manner that forms "The Holy Bible". This is not possible for any other book in the history. Because such consistency in its message for such a long time ranging from 1,000-1,500 years is impossible, and then the other aspect is that it authors about 40. The Gospels which gives us the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ was written by his disciples, reliability for any historical documents are its source of how, who, when and what was written. If we consider Bible, when it was written after the people and incidents that took place. Gospels Matthew, Mark, John and Luke were written just after Jesus' ascension to heaven. So, its historically verifiable and accuracy at 100%. We now have more than 5,000 manuscripts of this Gospels (Manuscripts are copies that were written by scribes, they copied from the original texts written by the authors, since there was no printing press or xerox, it was hand copied by this scribes, scribes are very efficient in copying the text, as they use to calculate the number of letters from each page and then see the copied text if the same text has been copied, when they were copying they know it is the "Word of God", so they took caution at each and every letter that they were copying). Though Bible does not give us the whole picture of how the Universe was created, it denotes/points to a creator - God. It presumes that God exists - Eternally. And it is Elohim. Then it points to the order of creation and why humans was given such specialty, because they were made in the image/likeness of God.

This is not so with Quran or Vedas/Bagavat Gita/Ramayanam etc. Because these are written by a particular person. For Ex: Quran was written by Mohammed and at first he got dilutions, dreams, visions and nightmares that God told him to write a book - Quran. He use to spit up and have bad head ace. Then he confirmed that this is word of god by his wife. Historical references states that he did not write even a single word in quran(as he was illiterate) but his followers wrote. It is said that each and every word was told by angel Gabriel and quran was written - word to word the word of god. We will see some of the texts and could prove that this cannot be true.

2. God of Christianity and Islam
God of Justice: Bible gives many references that God will Justify the sins of people, Though Israel was the chosen nation, when they sinned against God, God punished them. The ultimate sacrifice and an answer for all the sins of this world is in the Cross. Where Jesus was crucified for our sins. Making a way for us sinners to reach God - Who is Holy, Pure.
Islam's way of Judgment is very different from Christianity,
a) Forgiveness in Christianity and Islam
Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior: In the old testament God allowed people to sacrifice animals instead of them and an offering for the sins, but this cannot save anyone of their sins. So, Jesus Christ is the lamb of God who came to save the sinners. As all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, all should have been punished for our sins. Since God is Truth, Perfect, Holy he cannot accept anyone who has done even a small sin like a lie, or a theft etc. So, God made a perfect way for us to come to him through Jesus Christ.

b) Trinity In Christianity
Jesus Christ is not a God, He is the only God. But in Christianity there is Trinity, where God the Father, God the Son - Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. They three are the same one God, but in three personalities. How can it be? it is a mystery. God is omnipotent, he can know our past, present and future. He cannot be seen by any human eye. Because he is pure and holy. As we have sinned and fallen short of his glory we are limited in our understanding of God in full, but God himself represented in the form of Man - Jesus Christ. When we see Jesus Christ as Son of God, he is a person in Trinity and God, that is why when he was crucified he was dead as Man, but still alive as God. Even when he born as a child that does not mean he took birth only two thousand years ago. He existed forever - Everlasting, only he took the form of Man at two thousand years ago. A simple understanding as to why God should be three persons and not one is to see who God would have spoken before creating Universe? Islam cannot answer as allah is one and only one, cannot have a Son or relationship with any other. So, Islam cannot answer as to who did allah spoke when he created everything? as far as Hinduism or any other religious belief consists nothing answers where there was "Unity in Diversity" as like the Judeo- Christian vies of God as Trinity. God is one in one sense and three in another sense. i.e in persons.
What is Hinduism?

Quran is the last holy book which came to earth after bible so definitely u can compare both of them as moral of both the books are same ie "Believe in one god". In Bible the messenger was Jesus Christ and in quran it was prophet Mohammed who came with one message "Believe in one god".

Among 40 authors in the Bible, many were fishermen, kings, professional in different fields, etc. So, God used these people to reveal his word through their understanding and learning. Ex: Paul who was converted from orthodox Judaism to Christ follower by a vision (
Acts 9) was a student in Judaism, and a profound thinker and researcher. which allowed him to write more than 60% of New Testament in the Bible.
It is impossible to ascertain how these 40 authors for a period of 1000 to 1500 years were able to write with the same theme and objective of the person of Jesus Christ, this is because of the "Inspiration of The Holy Spirit".
Quran distorts the truth:
Jesus as Son of God: Gospel of John starts with, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God". The "Word" here is Jesus Christ. This also answers the question, "If Jesus came into existence only after his birth as a child in Bethlehem?" The answer is No. As we can see Jesus was in the beginning(before Universe was created), he was with God(as Son of God - Person of Trinity) and he was God(God Himself - "The Great I AM")
If quran diminishes the deity of Jesus Christ that means it cannot be the word of god. In fact it denounces by stating falsehood about Jesus as Son of a carpenter and not Son of God, it states God did not allow Jesus to die on cross, but the history and Bible confirms that Jesus died on cross and resurrected on 3rd day.
How can God delude some into thinking "it was made appear as Jesus was on the cross, but it was some one else?" is God a delusion?

Now to understand any particular statement we need to understand the basic logic. For Ex: If I say all cats are animals, all animals are not cats then its a mutually exclusive statement if I say, Some Animals are Cats.
If we consider religion to be a subjective matter, ex: I like strawberry, some others like orange. We are assuming religion to be just a part of our life and it is based on feelings. But actually it is not.
Now when we say God. He is not subjective and there is nothing to do with though process. Because any other entity will have a reference, but God exists out of a reference point. Ex: I am a Human Being I exist because I live, I consume food, I intake oxygen for breathing etc. God is everlasting.
What forms as religion of this world is subjective and it is according to each person's thought process. But a truth claim cannot consider this statement. This statement does not have any proof of its own. It is flawed by its own statement that there is a belief system that is not according to the right path or right way, and it is subjective and according to the thought process is because of its basic structure.

IF we were to say a beautiful picture in a paper is somehow by nature the required amount of ink, structure and color was added and it came into existence no one will believe. So, can we consider that as subjective? I don't feel like some one would have drawn it? No. These are absolute truth, I say someone should have drawn it. It is impossible for the nature to create such thing.
Now, we get into the fact of life. Sin is true. Its very evident with the evil nature that we each and everyone have. Either lying, stealing, getting angry. etc.
Now, if some one says I don't believe in the existence of gravity so I will walk in and through a cliff, or jumps from a cliff stating since I don't believe in gravity. Will have be able to walk in the sky? can he be able to over come the force of gravity? No. Such is the case with the existence of God.
There are many other theories to prove the existence of God, but only those who can reason and understand the meaning of Truth will accept it. There is a factor of risk in believing God. Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. Because once we accept and surrender to God all our will, our life, our freedom should be given to him. In fact we have to submit and surrender ourselves to him. This will limit us doing sinful things, becoming God for ourselves, leaving our old form of life. etc. this is where many people fear, John clearly stated this right when he said,

I still wonder why some people will start with their and other sinful nature when we start to speak about God. Because they know what they do and say is wrong but does not know the way to come out of that darkness. Jesus said, "I am the light of the World".

If Christianity claims that it is the one true religion and there cannot be any other way to God. It is a Absolute truth statement. There are basically three types of tests to prove if this is correct. Christianity passes all these tests. If Christianity is a true religion, then is there a possibility of other religion's claim to be the right one? No, since the claim of Christianity is that not all the ways (or religions/beliefs/systems/Guru/Gods etc) can lead to eternal life or heaven. Christianity claims or Jesus Christ claims that he is the one and only true God and he is the only way to God and there is no other way to heaven.
Concept of God
Now someone can simply state I know the concept of God, that it differs from each person to person because we have hundreds of thousands of religion. What they try to say is by their limited thinking and understanding what they think is that God as a concept is just a personal opinion. But this cannot be true. For ex: I don't know if Bermuda Triangle case are true or false because I have not been there. So, I cannot say there is no Bermuda Triangle as I have never realized it. Same goes with the concept of God.

So, Christianity has proven that its not just a personal choice that makes this as a religious belief, but it is a fact that Jesus Christ existed, his life, death on cross, resurrection after three days and ascension to heaven and is alive forevermore.
Can't be proven as absolute truth: when the evidences are so clear and to denounce just in a statement anything can be said. I can say 2+2 is not equal to 4, but its 5. Will it become a fact just because I said so??? No statement should be made without proper assessment of the subject and object in a statement. If we try to make such statements we fail in more than one logical tests.

Theory until proven - Science has not proved many concepts (Big Bang) but with all the facts they have come to a conclusion that Universe should have a beginning. All religions can be said as belief systems, but Christianity claims to be the only true religion. So, its not a belief system. There are enough proofs and evidences for Christ as God and it is therefore an Absolute Truth and as we could see it proved as not just a theory there is no point to bring the concept of God again.
Logically Consistent statement:
Theories were proven in Christ's life, death & resurrection, so its no more just a concept of God, all religions are not the same, Christianity claims to be the only true religion. So, its not a belief system. There are many proofs and evidences, in fact Christianity is the only religion that accepts the facts to be verified. So, Christ's claim of Divinity i.e God is an absolute truth statement and he is God. So people all around the world believe in him.

Jesus' birth was predicted more than 700 years by a Prophet called Isaiah, there are more number of references in the Bible in BC for Jesus Christ than any other person.
The whole Bible, which in one sense tells that the World could have had a beginning for about 7,000 to 14,000 years ago. This is exact calculation from the birth of Adam till now. In another reference considering the years that might have been millions of years(when satan was thrown from heaven) dates to any of the scientific dates like 15 millions to some billions of years. But Bible refers that God created the Heavens and Earth at the very first verse. So, Jesus was there in the beginning before anything was created, because he was God, he is God and he will be the only God forever.
In fact not only the date of his birth, but the place of birth, to which bloodline he will born. All were predicted or prophesied and everything has happened as exactly as it is.
Who said Jesus is not a historical figure.. it also a fact that Buddha was born , Mahaveer Jain was born, Mohammed was born.. all are historical facts.. concept of God and belief systems that they are messagerns of God or God themselves is subjective and can't be proven.. it is subjective to each person's belief system

I never said that you claimed that Jesus never existed and never did I claim that Buddha or any other personalities were born. Here you see, you limited the fact that the divinity of Jesus is not only by his birth, but most importantly his life, death and resurrection. No one in the history of mankind claimed to have resurrected and lived forever and only God can and that is Jesus Christ. Any other person who claimed to do so, failed. Ex: Mohammed died drinking poison, which he said he will not die. All the myths and mythological characters died. Buddha died, in fact he was so confused about the meaning and purpose of life, and the complexity in understanding life after death. He gave up all the things which he liked and gave up.
Again "Concept of God", "Belief System" proved to be the correct one in Christianity. I am not stating it is false you are. Need to check and verify the facts rather than limiting it will not make an argument correct.

If we were to compare Christ with other historical figures you are right in stating that Jesus was born 2,000 years ago and Christianity came into existence only after that. But the fact is Jesus' birth as a human took place about 2,000 years ago. But he is an everlasting God, he has no beginning nor end. God is Love. Not that kind of love which we understand as to give me something in return I will give you something. I have heard that sanskrit is very good for the computer language. Though I do not know what exactly it means, I think it is impossible for now to change the english language to sanskrit just because it is easy language to input in system than english.
