believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:24 NIV
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Many of us doubt. In belief that God is going to do a miracle there should not be any doubt. As Jesus says to believe that we have already received it. It means that we have so much confidence that God will provide.

In The Offering of Isaac: Gen 22:8
…7 Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" 8 Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." So the two of them walked on together.

Genesis 22:14 NIV Jehovah Jireh -

So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided."

In the book "The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind" - Joseph discusses about the same principle of getting things. He quotes Mark 11:24 and says we have to first believe in our mind that we have already received it, then we will surely receive it.

How can Jesus so confidently say to believe that we have already received it? He says so assuredly because of the work of the cross. He has already done everything that we can ask for, it is in his hand to give us that or those things which we deserve and also those things which we desire, If it is the will of God.

Jesus when teaching about the prayer, He taught us that we are to ask for our daily bread... To forgive one another...

He asked us to believe for those things which he has already have in his mind. For he know the past, present and future.

Worrying is an other thing. It is one more step of doubt. It is believing in God not making it for us.

Matthew 25:14-30

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Parable of the Talents

18 But he who received the one talent went away, and dug a hole in the ground and hid his [b]master’s money.....
24 “And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed. 25 And I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’
