We all know positive thought like positive energy produces much fruit, but the problem is how to think positive. There are so many ways to get distracted in this life. Each and every area of life has been contaminated. But they who fear God will never find it difficult to think positive. Look at Jesus - Just before his Crucifixion he said to forgive those who humiliated him. He washed his Disciples feet and he never got angry or weary. He took the cross, He cried out to the Father in heaven, asking if it is his will be done, though he suffered a lot, he said "may the cup of suffering be removed, not according to my will, but your will.
He Prayed for us, He lived a life of example for us, thinking of no name or fame for him, no position or honoring, he made himself available, he gave every one opportunity - The women in the well, the women who touched his garment to the woman at the grave searching for the master. He made available for the little ones. He made available for the sinners and pharisees, the rich and the poor.
How did he manage such a great responsibility, it is by positive attitude towards life.
He always remembered the good things, He always thanked Father before anything... He always asked the Father, "If it is your will.... Let it be done...
He knew what the Father God always wants... So he says, "Father, as according to your will...
His parables are of a great significance to show us how we can think of his good nature, where he always said "to be aware, to watch, to be ready, to never give up, to help others, to save the lost.....
To the woman who was about to be stoned, he saved her, this way he did everything and it is possible because of his positive thinking.... He never gave up thinking that the situation has bought him to doubt about the human conditions are greater in leading to misery or distress, but with wisdom and knowledge of God the Father, he was able to rightly Judge the timing.
Positive attitude is all about timing, Know that he said to his mother, "My hour has yet come", note that he said to the Heavenly Father, "Father, For this hour I have come".....
Those who were not able to understand God's timing missed his amazing character of his attitude...
The storm at the sea and all his disciples were afraid and feared death, When Lazarus was dead, everyone said "you should have been here". Remember when he said about the coming of the Holy Spirit? He said let not your heart be troubled neither be it afraid.
When our mind is filled with what God wants, his will, willingness to do everything according to his word, obeying him we shall be sure of having a positive attitude, because God always wants us to have a positive attitude.
Positive attitude creates opportunities, it shorts the way for destruction and leads the way for life.
Its a force for change, its a message for deliverance, Paul when he was intervened by Jesus, he was completely changed and his optimism was very clear, that when he was in prison and in various trials and temptations he was able to think the right thing. He wrote God thanks letters, not because he was in prison or he was in distress and in difficulty, but because God was with him and his attitude about the situation was always positive.
Joseph was another example of how a person with limited knowledge and power could change things around him by having a positive attitude, how to overcome temptations, by saying the right answers, though he was arrested after denying potiphar wife's request, he was happy to think positive in prison which let him to interpret the dreams and again regain everything he lost and even more.
Positive Attitude creates positive atmosphere. From the above examples, though outwardly it appears to be a different locations like prison, persecution, or even death, these people who had hope in thinking positive never failed. God wants us to think positive all the time, it is not what happens in our lives that matter, but how we perceive that and how we interpret and use it for the future that matters.
Wisdom is positive thinking....
we create a world around with our thinking, so if we were to create it with positive attitudes that no matter what happens, we know that God is with us, so we don't have to worry about anything, we don't have to fear about anything, the circumstances and people will not affect us anyway, Say Jesus had this perspective about life, he created that positive world, that is when he said, Forgive, Thirsty, Submit.... on the cross and even before.
Positive attitude will bring success...
You See David, What made him to go against Goliath? It was his positive attitude towards God, his remembrance of how God saved him from the Lions and beasts which came to attack the cattle, how God helped him to save cattle from the Lion's mouth.
