The question of being Conscious

Are we being conscious following our religion? Many a times we think its a matter of mere luck and chance. But religious texts have a particular reason behind everything.

Peter says to answer with clear conscience, whoever speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ.

1 Peter 3:16 NIV
keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

Religion has faced a major obstacle from not having different views about God or on any other thing, but from the Science. The objective of science and religion is to fill the gap of doubt, where there are no real facts. In the matter of consciousness the science says that one following a particular religion is a mere occurrence of chance and not choice, but pure religion is a matter of choice. Those who really wanted to know the truth, will seek for it. When they find it they treasure it, because everything which is obtained by a struggle has a value to be placed. And this is what Jesus said,

John 8:31-32

New International Version (NIV)

Dispute Over Whose Children Jesus’ Opponents Are

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

So there is always a price to pay for, if we really wanted to know the truth - the truth that will set us free, first we have to:

HOLD ON TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST:

BEING JESUS' DISCIPLES:

There were times when the God in human form came to the earth to make us understand this difference, he was questioned and doubted.

Matthew 13:57 NIV

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home."

Doubts and difficulties in understanding stem out of the nature of humanity, but its the greatest step towards willing to learn the truth.

Jesus even said about being a testimony. Someone rising from death would not be sufficient for the people to believe. This is what exactly happened in the parable of lazarus, Here there were no issues about the practicing of a religion or anything to do with God, but following God's words. As the rich man was not concerned about poor lazarus.

Luke 16:31 NIV

"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'"

The doubt and the questioning:

Matthew 27:40 NIV

and saying, "You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!"

We could see the pattern of the question to Jesus: "If you are the Son of God".
Matthew 4:3 NIV

The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."

When Jesus answers the first question from the scripture, The tempter asks the next question with the help of the scripture itself, This clearly shows that the tempter knows about God, but yet denies the power and tries to have a rule over it.
Matthew 4:6 NIV

"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: "'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'"

Pride has become a very important aspect for the angels to fall, The other was disobedience of Adam and Eve, then came generations after generations whose hearts were defiled - which thought only evil and did evil things.
The other aspect for pride it the basic instinct, leaning on our own understanding. Disobedience is a form of laziness, blaming others. Matter of heart is to do with the will of God. God has placed eternity into our hearts - Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

But we have wired ourselves with the mindset of one time only life. Limitedness. Ecclesiastes 8:11 NIV
When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people's hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong.

Ultimately we ought to be conscious with our Faith, conscious in doing as according to the will of the Father in Heaven, conscious in our sins - So that we will be able to know Jesus Christ who died for our sins. conscious about the resurrection, we need to be conscious about our belief about Jesus' resurrection or else we will be left with will be left with sufferings and pain for our sins and we will have to pay the price for our sins, which is death.

HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED DAY AHEAD
