The Word which Strengths, The Word which gives us life - Jesus Our Daily Bread

Philippians 4:13

New King James Version (NKJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

At the beginning of any work, we ought to consider that our sole source of strength is Jesus Christ. Paul writing to Philippians says that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. He was in prison, he went through persecutions, rejections, stoning and in perils and destructions. The one thing which kept him alive is the source from where he draw an everlasting strength. As Jesus says

John 7:38

New King James Version (NKJV)
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Believing in the word of God.
In believing in the word of God means completely relying on him. Giving up our will and surrendering our purposes of life to him. It does not stop us from doing  things differently, until and unless we ourself transform through the word.

The Bible clearly says that -

Romans 12:2

New International Version (NIV)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

So the first thing to be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. Is to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

It takes efforts, hard work, dedication to achieve something in life, when there is such a tendency towards the goals of earthly thing, how much more should be there for heavenly, everlasting goals.

1 Timothy 4:8

New International Version (NIV)
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

1 Corinthians 15:19

King James Version (KJV)
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

God's word is Sword:

Hebrews 4:12

King James Version (KJV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We live by his Word:

Matthew 4:4

New International Version (NIV)
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’

The Word is our Daily Bread:

Matthew 7:9

New International Version (NIV)
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

Matthew 6:11

King James Version (KJV)
11 Give us this day our daily bread.

John 6:35

New International Version (NIV)
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED DAY AHEAD
