Joyful in Hope

Romans 12:12

New International Version (NIV)
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Romans 12:12 has got very important lessons for our lives.

Joyful in hope:
The greatest Joy for all of us is the birth of Christ Jesus:

Luke 2:10-11

King James Version (KJV)
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

His birth has given us the hope for living this life and the life that is to come. He has come to set us free and to have an everlasting life through believing him and trusting him.

Joyful in knowing him:
It is the Joy that we get from knowing him, Knowing that he has been there for us to help us in our trouble, he never leaves us nor forsakes us. Who has been our example, who calls us and say, "Matthew 11:28 NIV
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Philippians 4:4 NIV

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Joyful for Salvation:
We know that our work in this life will never equal with the work of God which has already been done for us through Jesus Christ. The women in the well did't know from where she has to draw the water from - The water that Jesus told that will give everlasting life" - but Jesus made her understand who he is, through her many believed Jesus, but yet they believed only after hearing the word of God. (John 4:1-26)
As said in Psalm 51:12, we our to ask God to restore the joy of Salvation and as God to grant us willing spirit, to sustain.

Psalm 51:12

New International Version (NIV)
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Joyful is Strength:

Psalm 28:7 NIV

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Inexpressible and glorious Joy:
The Joy that cannot even be expressed, but only to be experienced.

1 Peter 1:8

New International Version (NIV)
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

Hebrews 12:2

New King James Version (NKJV)
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED DAY AHEAD
