On Being Content:

Philippians 4:11 has a great valuable lesson on being content. (Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content - Phil 4:11)
To be a Strong man, man of wisdom. There is this scripture in Matthew, which shows us how a wise man and a foolish man withstand when there is a storm.

Matthew 7:24-29
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

To be in content and to be strong or to obtain Godly wisdom, this is what we need to do. To have a very strong foundation (Matt 16:13-19 Jesus Christ as Savior, the Son of the living God.)Then there is this question, why being strong does one has to go through a lot of problems in life? The answer is simple. Until and unless there is no storm, there is no way of knowing what our foundations are built upon. The Storms of life determines, where our foundations are laid upon.

Matthew 16
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Have a Great and Blessed Day ahead!
