Dumb demoniac healed
Matthew 9:32-34
King James Version (KJV)
32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.
34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
In the account of Matthew - chapter 9 verses 32 to 34, there is this miracle of Jesus healing a demon possessed mute man. The miracle of healing this man has very important lessons for our lives:
Jesus cast out the demon:
Here again in this miracle Jesus first cast out the devil in the man, he knows the solution for the problem, he alone can resolve the problem because he cares for our souls. Here he cared for this man who was not even looked by any other, but Jesus casts out the devil - "the devil was cast out".
Jesus enables the dumb to speak:
Once the devil left this man, it also left the limitation this man had with his God given ability to speak. "the dumb spake:"
The tongue, the speech, the words are a wonderful gift given by God for us to Glorify his name, to Praise his name, to encourage one another, to tell the words of life. This man after he was set free from the demonic possession was given the chance to change his life and others through the God given gift of speech.
Jesus' miracle makes the multitudes to marvel:
The people around the miracle were marveled. and the multitudes marvelled
Jesus' miracle of healing this demon possessed mute made the multitudes to say "It was never so seen in Israel". - It will never be in our lives too to have seen something of this sort, a miracle, healing etc, but only when Jesus enters our hearts and our minds our soul, the spirit of God interprets things which we never before saw or thought about. The spirit of lord makes us understand everything.
Only God can do such type of things.. That is why the Pharisees interpreted wrongly and accused Jesus saying He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.
The Spirit of Lord is upon him - As said in Luke 4:18. He is Christ, The Messiah, The Redeemer.
HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED DAY AHEAD
