Inclination Power of his Word
God's word always works, it works like a miracle. In this troubled word with lots of things to get bogged down. God's Word - Indeed it is God who enables us to listen to his word and to meditate on it, So that we may not be disappointed at the times of trouble, but happily overcome it by his Power.
The word without God is impossible.
He was there with them who went through tough times in their lifetime, but never lost the hope. Because of this word there are millions who get enriched to do greater things. It was written when the opposition king was attacking a group of people - At the time of Moses, to a very personal struggle - At the time of David, Paul. It was written for community or group - for them what the Law is, what are the boundaries one should set in according to God's will. How to respect the fellow beings. There are personal motivational aspects also. As to how God Love without any form of condition. How one can have a personal relationship with him.
There verses have been a real helpline that people use them at the time of trouble, but what is most important is that God is always with us, So we need to ask him from our heart, as to what we need and how he can help us. Reciting is also important, we could see this in the life of Jesus.
When he was tempted at the wilderness - The Satan uses the very verses from the scripture.
Matthew 4:1-11
But Jesus overcame the temptations.
There was a time in Gethsemane, when he prayed to the Father - Asking him to remove the Cup - If only you are willing. This is the aspect of Prayer asking and telling us our need.
On the Cross - Jesus cried out saying: Matthew 27:46
About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?").
This way even David cried unto God in the Psalms - Psalm 22:1 NIV
For the director of music. To the tune of "The Doe of the Morning." A psalm of David. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
when the soldiers were humiliating - Jesus said to the Father to forgive them - this is the real forgiveness.
So the scripture is available for us all through the day to guide us and to help us to face different difficult situations. That we may have Hope in him. Who always works for our benefit and never for our fall. If we could put our trust in him, he will do great miracles in our lives that we once only dreamt of.
He always encourages:
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Isaiah 49:15 NIV
"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
He is a compassionate God:
Matthew 9:36 NIV
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
He is The True Vine:
Jesus told that he is the true vine and the father is the vinedresser, then continued saying that if we abide in him we will bear much fruit, as Jesus abides in the Father.
John 15:11 NIV
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
Jesus when he spoke to his disciples about the departing to the Father's home. He said the Holy Spirit will be in you and he will guide you. But yet the Disciples were much anguish - (so are we in our troubled worldly life) - So Jesus says:
John 14:27 NIV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

2 Timothy 3:16-17King James Version (KJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
