In Romans Paul says that as the First Adam sinned, we were all condemned to Death, but because of Jesus Christ we were made to be alive.

Now coming to the Prophecies:
There are many interpretations about the prophecies, but majorly there are three:
Isaiah's Prophecy:

13 Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you[a] a sign: The virgin[b] will conceive and give birth to a son, and[c] will call him Immanuel.[d] 15 He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, 16 for before the boy knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, the land of the two kings you dread will be laid waste. 17 The Lord will bring on you and on your people and on the house of your father a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah—he will bring the king of Assyria.”
Isaiah's prophesy reveals the nature of God. His Birth is a sinless and pure birth - A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son. It also gives us the confidence that no matter what, no matter what we have sinned. But yet because of his love he will be with us - "IMMANUEL"- God is with us. For God has said,

Micah's Prophecy:

for a siege is laid against us.

2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,

one who will be ruler over Israel,

from ancient times.”
3 Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor bears a son,
and the rest of his brothers return
to join the Israelites.
4 He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the Lord,
in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach to the ends of the earth.
5 And he will be our peace
when the Assyrians invade our land
and march through our fortresses.
We will raise against them seven shepherds,

Micah gives us a gist of Jesus Christ' birthplace. And also says that though that is a small town, but yet it is blessed because the Savior is born there.
He also says that Jesus Christ will be the shepherd who will stand and watch his flock.
Jesus said that he lays down his life for us: Such a love that no one has on us.
John 10:11 ►
