The Heart is know for the purification of the Blood. When the Heart itself fails or when it itself is unclean from where shall the living Blood be cleaned?
Some say the Heart of the matter is the Matter of the Heart. Each and everyone of our lives - Our heart is broken at one or the other part of time. The volume and the heaviness of the pain may be different, but God is the solution. When we have a consoling person in Jesus Christ, we can go with our broken hearts - He mends it, corrects it, cleanses it.
This Broken pieces of heart is what God wants, because he know how to fix it.
Psalm 51:17 NIV
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus can clean the Heart.
Love him Whole Heart -
Render your heart and not your garments:
Joel 2:12-14Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
God’s Call for Repentance
12 Even now—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
turn to Me with all your heart,
with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13 Tear your hearts,
not just your clothes,
and return to the Lord your God.
For He is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger, rich in faithful love,
and He relents from sending disaster.
14 Who knows? He may turn and relent
and leave a blessing behind Him,
so you can offer grain and wine
to the Lord your God.
How else but through a broken heart may Lord Christ enter in?” - Oscar Wilde
