Don't give devil a foothold

The camel's nose is a metaphor for a situation where the permitting of a small, seemingly innocuous act will open the door for larger, clearly undesirable actions.

Ephesians 4 speake lot about what we should not do or allow. It starts with the fact that as Christ ascended to heaven, he gave gifts to each of us. And the verse that speaks about Evengelism, sharing the Word is in 4.15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ

Speaking the Truth in Love.

Now coming to the verse that speaks "not to do".

Darkening of eyes because of hardening of heart.
1. falsehood

2. “In your anger do not sin”

3. do not give the devil a foothold

4. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer

5. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths

6. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Now, not giving a foothold to devil means that we should fill out hearts with Holy Spirit.
