Living a Gospel Life

Anyone who know the Love of God forgives. Even if it is the most difficult situation or a dangerous situation.

Luke 23:33-34 (NASB)

The Crucifixion
When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. 34 But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.

Most of us want others to feel sorry for what they have done, we need them to say sorry, we need them to feel guilty of their sins, mistakes or wrongs that they did. But what if we are put to shame in front of other, what if our faith is tested? we have to use that opportunity to praise God and never doubt his presence and help.

Mark 13:11 (NASB)
When they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit.

Turning the other cheek:

Matthew 5:39 NIV
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

What does turning the other cheek mean? turning those moments of difficulty, struggle, humility, injustice, trouble, sorrow etc, into Praising God, Glorifying God, Sharing Gospel - The Good News. Showing Love, Care and Concern that God showed us. Forgiving others.

These are the very moments in our life that transforms the lives of many, when they see that we do not react but respond to the situation with Godly fear and Love. They will come to know the love of God.

Hebrews 12:2 NIV
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
