Miracles of Jesus - Blind man restored to sight

Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida

Mark 8:22-26
King James Version (KJV)
22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

In the healing of the Blind Man at Bethsaida, we can learn some important lessons for our lives:

Jesus saw their Faith:
We know that it is impossible to please God without Faith.  Hebrews 11:6 NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
In the above miracle Jesus saw their Faith as they bought this Blind man unto him and besought him to touch him. Their Faith is very specific, besought him to touch him. They knew the power of God, they understood the presence of God and they finally believed in the miracle that could happen by the touch of the God.

Jesus heals the Blind in a different manner:
Jesus first took him by hand and led him out of the town. Then he spit on his eyes and put his hands upon him and asked him if he was able to see. This way of healing is very different and it is because of its specific reasons.
Jesus took him by hand - because the people believed the power of a single touch. So, Jesus touched him.
Led him out of the town - this may be because of unbelievers. - As we can see in the end verses it is said, And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.
Spit on his eyes - this is to heal the blind from his bondage. To spit on the problem and to remove the hurdles and bottlenecks in his life.

Jesus Brings new perspectives into our lives:
Jesus then asked him if he could see anything. At first he says he can see men as trees walking and then he could see clearly. This is very specifically done so that the miracle has to happen in two stages. As Jesus asks if he could see anything, that means he may not be able to see clearly, may be he never saw anything before in his life and now when he got the vision, he must have been surprised and he may not have understood anything. Therefore Jesus first saw the difficulty in his acceptance of the vision with his ability to respond or react, then again in the second stage, i.e after he was able to recognise the trees and men. Jesus transforms his life by putting his hands again - After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

The miracle of healing the Blind man at Bethsaida has given us a new perspective on healings of Jesus Christ. Jesus knows what the exact problem and what exactly needs to be done to resolve, we look only at the outer or we limit with just the sickness, but Jesus looks at the very personality itself, he just doesn't want to make a miracle happen out of his power, but he wanted us to understand the meaning behind it and the message in it. So that we can also see the miracles happening in our lives, the way he wanted to have.

HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED DAY AHEAD
