and in many instances - Jesus compares two different kinds of people. One who does the will of God other does what he wills.
Jesus also said this -
James has clearly stated in his book about the oppression of the Rich on Poor.
James 2:6 NIV
But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?
Rich always like to have judgement passed on the poor for the faults, but they want mercy when they do the wrong. So wasting one's life does not consist of how much one is rich, but how much he is rich in kingdom of God, i.e by doing God's Will.
Nobody will tear the entire book if one page is lost. It is in fact for those who are lost they need a guide.
God is the guide, it is for the sick there is need of Doctor.
In the book - Don't Waste your life John Piper says: The wasted life is the life without a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples.
