The extremes of Jesus' Love:
The One which saves - The other which gives us Hope.
Paul writing to Corinthians says:
Conviction to such point to say,"Neither Death nor Life" is a very strong statement.
Living upto the expectation of Christ in our lives is the foremost important aspect in a christian life. Paul even in Philippians says about his conviction -
The other view Paul had confidence in Jesus was for the things which he spoke of about Heaven - The Eternal Life, The things which are unseen.

Paul's conviction comes from the life of Jesus, His strongholds comes from the fact that Jesus was obedient to the point of his death and his power to overcome death by the Resurrection. He unveiled the mystery and sought for the knowledge of the most high.
