We all go through difficulties, but what keeps us lighted up in spirit is God through his son Jesus, who says to us and in the Word of God that we get the comfort and assurance of God's Grace, Mercy and Peace. Peter said, his words are the very words of Eternal life.
John 6:68 Peter Simon answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
Even hundreds and thousands of years ago, David would say of God's Word as the Lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Why are Words important in our lives? We communicate through the Words, our action depends upon the Words we speak, the thoughts gets converted through Words which impacts our actions. So, Words are a medium in the process of communication.

The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
So, God wants us to know that his plans for our life is always Good, the Best. So, he has given us his Word.
