Trust is build over a period of time, but Trusting God should be at all times. Initially it looks difficult. Noah was a faithful man, When God told him to build the ship. He did not question, but trusted God. When people put doubts in his mind, he did not weaver in his Trust, because the God is Trustworthy, he will not change. When he was criticized and made fun, he still Trusted God. Because God is Able to do more than what we think, feel, act or even imagine.
Jesus tells about the Foolish and Wise Builders. In which trusting God has its reward and not trusting him results not only in disappointments, but also severe consequences in life. Our Foundation in Faith is To Trust God at all times. Not when the situation looks good, not when things turns out to be perfect, not in people who promises. But our trust should be in God.
shadrach meshach abednego is a classical example with Daniel in lion's den.
Habakkuk 3:17 NIV
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
Trusting in God produces positive results, the words at times of our trouble will be different only if our Trust is in God, Paul says:
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
