You might have some questions in this? Let me help you with what I know.
No Worldview answers the question of suffering and pain like that of Judeo-Christian Worldview. The question that haunted for many a years. Why Good people suffer and Bad people enjoy (there is no Good people), but more than any other question, the question of why Children or babies die? If death is the punishment for sin, what did these babies, who can't even speak do?
One perfect incident could be found in the book of Samuel.
- David's confidence on God that he will see his son in heaven.

Without knowing what exactly these means that really teach great lessons, we should not jump into conclusion.

New International Version
It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. |
Pain teaches Patience
Pain teachers valuable lessons
The mother of a daughter who was diagnosed with CIPA was pleading God to allow some suffering and pain to be recognized.
CIPA (congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis). This horrific disease has stricken only very few people in human history. The body simply does not feel pain, but this does not mean that the body cannot be wounded. In fact, therein lies the danger.
We could not have seen much of new testament writings from Paul, as he wrote most of them in difficult situations.
We learn from Job, his conclusion on God's presence that he felt the most and said, "My Redeemer Lives".
It is this pain that allowed Habakkuk to say,
Habakkuk 3:17-18 New International Version (NIV)
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
