John 14:6 NIV
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
The problem with many of our life is, we does not know where we are suppose to go and where we are going. It is as if we have given up our hope, those things which we thought were once the most intelligent and intellectual and amazing, until we find that was thought centuries before. Those moments of success and victory were something like no one has ever achieved, until we find there are many more achievements in the hands of men. Courage, boldness, beauty... and the list goes on and on. But this is a deception. We know from the parable of talents, where the one talent guy who hid his gift and also was angry on his master. How often we miss this opportunity of one talent and disguise like this guy.
Jesus answered to Thomas in John 14:6 as "The Way" - Because Thomas said "Lord, we don not know where you are going, and how can we know the way?".
Jesus did not explain him anything, but straightforwardly his answer can saying "I am". The answer to many of our problems is Jesus. We try to find the solutions from other sources. But Jesus says "I am".
Jesus then says about himself as Truth. This he says because he also reminded about false prophets coming in his name: Matthew 24:5 NIV
For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many.
Jesus also said us what will let us free - John 8:32 NIV
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Jesus also reminded us about the Spirit of the God, who guides us into the truth:
John 16:13 NIV
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Finally Jesus says about life:
Matthew 16:25 NIV
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
Life is the most precious gift of God. All the experiences, gifts, talents are given us freely. Those sins which could never been redeemed without the blood of Jesus, the Salvation, the Everlasting life in Jesus. Everything we ever thought about, what we asked about, what our hears could not hear, eye cannot see, the mystery that our thoughts cannot think, The things that our hearts cannot perceive are gift from God.
All that makes the difference is our choices:
Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Hebrews 6:19 NIV
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
